Winsing Arts Foundation is hosting Hiroshi Sugimoto Guided Tour and Champagne Breakfast at Winsing Art Place on Thursday, 8 May 2025 to celebrate Taipei Dangdai. People will know more about Hiroshi Sugimoto through the event and experience the artist’s work in person.

Hiroshi Sugimoto’s solo exhibition at Winsing Art Place presents four series, including “Past Presence,” “Theater and Opera House,” “Seascapes,” and “Polarized Colours.”  These works invite viewers to re-examine the flow of time, the nature of memory, and the reality of the world.  Hiroshi Sugimoto was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1948.  His artistic philosophy revolves around the essence of time, memory, and existence.  His works have been collected by many internationally renowned art institutions, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Solomon R.  Guggenheim Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Tate in London.
