On Monday, May 12th, TAIPEI DANGDAI invites all its VIPs to travel to the first edition of the PENGHU PERENNIAL — a public art event hosted by the PENGHU INSTITUTE OF LEISURE & LABOR, a new independent art center founded on the Penghu archipelago by French artist ITEM IDEM.

For the inaugural edition of the institute’s residency program, Hangzhou-based artist and filmmaker CHENG RAN, founder of the art collective MARTIN GOYA BUSINESS, will activate the first PENGHU PERENNIAL. On this occasion, the artist will unveil a special presentation of his archival works and will premiere JOSS JOSS (2025), the sequel to his seminal collaboration with ITEM IDEM. An artist talk moderated by ROBIN PECKHAM, co-director of TAIPEI DANGDAI, will follow the screening at the institute.

For those able to attend, sunset beach cocktails will conclude the presentation, along with a special viewing of the PENGHU INTERNATIONAL FIREWORKS FESTIVAL.

The free flow welcome canapés & cocktails for the sunset beach party will be exclusively curated by food designer SLOW CHEN, with chef LEE & renowned bar no.MORE from Taipei.

5月12日（星期一），TAIPEI DANGDAI 誠摯邀請所有VIP嘉賓，前往參與首屆 PENGHU PERENNIAL —— 由法國藝術家 ITEM IDEM 創立於澎湖群島的新獨立藝術中心「PENGHU INSTITUTE OF LEISURE & LABOR」所舉辦的公共藝術盛會。

為了啟動學院駐村計劃的首發專案，來自杭州的藝術家暨電影導演 CHENG RAN（藝術團體 MARTIN GOYA BUSINESS 創辦人）將親自啟動首屆 PENGHU PERENNIAL。屆時，藝術家將特別展出其重要檔案作品，並全球首映全新影片《JOSS JOSS》（2025），作為其與 ITEM IDEM 經典合作的續篇。隨後，TAIPEI DANGDAI 共同總監 ROBIN PECKHAM 將主持藝術家對談。

對於能親臨現場的嘉賓，活動將以夕陽沙灘雞尾酒會圓滿收尾，並特別安排觀賞澎湖國際煙火節的尊榮體驗。

此次 PENGHU PERENNIAL 的迎賓茶點與海邊雞尾酒派對將由食物設計師 SLOW CHEN 策劃，與廚師LEE、酒吧 no.MORE 聯手打造餐食體驗。
