Louise Bourgeois: I have been to hell and back.  And let me tell you, it was wonderful. is the first major exhibition of Louise Bourgeois in Taiwan, featuring over 80 iconic works.  The exhibition showcases her widely recognized sculpture Spider, rare early paintings, and the highly symbolic Cells series, among others.

The exhibition is divided into three chapters and two columns. The three chapters focus on “Motherhood,” “Reflections on the Father,” and “Inner Healing,” delving into the artist’s personal experiences and creative process.  The two columns highlight Bourgeois’s rarely seen early paintings and her seminal sculptures from the 1960s.

「路易絲．布爾喬亞：剛從地獄回來，順便說一句，太精采了」展覽，是台灣首次呈現布爾喬亞的大型展覽，展出超過80件其代表性作品，涵蓋了廣為人知的「蜘蛛」雕塑、珍貴的早期繪畫以及極具象徵意涵的「牢籠」系列等。此次展覽分為三個主題與兩個附章，三大主題分別聚焦於「對母性的關注」、「與父親關係的反思」以及「內心的修復」，深入探討藝術家的人生經歷與創作歷程；兩個附章則展示了藝術家難得一見的早期繪畫作品及其1960年代的代表性雕塑。
