Roni Horn Guided Tour and Champagne Breakfast |  羅尼．霍恩個展導覽早餐會

Winsing Arts Foundation is hosting Roni Horn Guided Tour and Champagne Breakfast at Winsing Art Place on Thursday, 11 May 2023 to celebrate Taipei Dangdai. People will know more about Roni Horn through the event and experience the perception of her works in person.

Roni Horn’s work is characterized by a sparse visual language that is often imbued with traces of her personal experiences and interpretation of her environment. Since the late 1970s, Horn has used a variety of mediums — including drawing, photography, sculpture and installation — to investigate the limits and contours of identity and perception. A playful relationship to doubling is a common touchpoint in Horn’s work as well. The artist often presents her installations and photographs side-by-side or in pairs, heightening the similarities and differences between the works. Often replete with textual references — from Emily Dickinson to Flanery O’Connor and Anne Carson — Horn’s work offers a semiotic investigation into the relationship between language and material. This exhibition at Winsing Art Place features important sculptures and photographs by Horn, the renowned glass sculpture collected by Winsing Arts Foundation will also be on display.

文心藝術基金會將在5月11日（週四）上午於文心藝所舉辦羅尼．霍恩個展導覽早餐會，共襄盛舉台北當代盛宴，讓喜愛當代藝術的朋友更深入了解羅尼．霍恩，親自感受作品帶來的感知體驗。

羅尼．霍恩的作品以簡潔的視覺語言為特徵，其中充滿了她個人經歷的痕跡和對環境的闡述。自1970年代後期，霍恩透過多樣的創作媒材 — 包含繪畫、攝影、雕塑及裝置 — 探索身份與感知的極限和輪廓。雙重性關係的趣味是霍恩作品中常見的媒介。藝術家經常以並排或成對的方式呈現裝置和攝影，強調作品之間的相同與差異性。文本的參考也經常引用於霍恩的創作 — 從艾蜜莉．狄金森、弗蘭納里．奧康納和安．卡森 — 作品探索了語言和材料彼此的關係。本次文心藝所展出霍恩重要的雕塑及攝影系列，其中也包含由文心藝術基金會收藏的著名玻璃雕塑。
